Vines that are over 35 years old produce the grapes for the Leone de Castris “Per Lui” Primitivo Salento IGT. After the late harvest by hand, which allows the grapes to be pre-dried on the vine, they are gently pressed and then fermented at a controlled temperature (24-26°C).
With red meat and aged cheese.
On the palate, the Leone de Castris "Per Lui" Primitivo Salento is harmonious, soft and has a pleasantly sweet melt. The fruity aromas of the nose are reflected here and end in a long-lasting finish.
