Only the best grapes from vines up to 10 years old are harvested by hand for Leone de Castris "Per Lui" Susumaniello IGT. Initially gently pressed, the must is fermented for 10 days at a controlled temperature (26 °C).

Pairing

Wonderful with spicy dishes such as goulash or roast lamb.

Tasting notes

Deep purple red, aromas that do not deny the Susumaniello's Apulian homeland and enchant with a stimulating freshness. Hints of ripe black cherries and fine spicy notes on the palate, dense, harmonious, long-lasting and beautifully fine-grained tannins.
