The whole is lively with a good fatness relayed by an acidic base of fine brilliance. The finish reveals toasty, vanilla notes.

The finish is extremely long, carried by notes of pepper and violet. This is a powerful, sweet wine.

The wine has a beautiful, intense ruby-violet colour, typical of a highly concentrated wine. The nose is expressive, greedy and very flattering, with notes of ripe, jammy fruit and light tobacco. Beautiful fullness due to the aromatic intensity, underpinned by the concentration of the well-structured, well-integrated tannins, which are in no way aggressive. The whole is rich and silky.

A very pure nose. Hints of morello cherry mingle with a very soft, delicate toastiness, and the palate is dazzling, with the same aromatic purity in the background. The finish is marked by cocoa aromas.
