This wonderful Primitivo di Manduria is fermented by wild yeasts. Thanks to the old vines and the deep subsoil, this wine gets an enormous body structure. Aged in French barriques, half of them in new barrels, the other half in twice-used. 9 months of barrel ageing without filtration and fining.
Ideal with red meat, game, but also pizza or pasta dishes.
Wonderfully intense bouquet with spicy notes of blackcurrant, chocolate and tobacco. Compact on the palate, excellently structured and very well balanced with noticeable acidity and pleasant tannins. Long and very fruity.
