Nice is a sub-zone of Barbera d'Asti that produces a wine that must meet certain quality standards to be so called. It must be made entirely from 100% Barbera grapes, with lower yields than those required for Barbera d'Asti, and with a south or southwest orientation of the vineyards. It must also be aged for a total of at least 18 months before being released onto the market.

Deep crimson red. Expressive bouquet characterized by ripe dark fruits, finely underlined with a subtle vanilla note. Soft and round on the palate with a beautiful structure and sophistication. Extremely juicy, warm aromas, full body and very elegant, fresh acidity. Long, fruity finish.
