The relatively late-ripening grape variety is the basis for full-bodied white wine. The Vermentino grape variety can originally be attributed to Spain. Today, the grape variety is mainly grown on the two neighboring Mediterranean islands of Corsica and Sardinia, as well as in Languedoc, Tuscany and Liguria in southern France. Approximately 12,000 bottles of these Vermentino IGT Toscana are produced each year.
Ideal with fish, soups and starters.
In the nose, fine, tart notes of exotic fruits, orange and acacia blossoms. In the mouth, juicy, robust, shines with a rich, full-bodied taste as well as a beautiful spice and acidity.
