Giuseppe Quintarelli war der Altmeister des Amarone. Das Weingut im Herzen des Valpolicella-Gebietes in der Nähe von Negrar übernahm Bepi , wie er auch genannt wurde, von seinem Vater. Obwohl er viel experimentierte, neue Rebsorten pflanzte und die Weine länger als üblich in den botti reifen liess, folgte er stets seinen eigenen Regeln und richtete sich nicht nach modischen Trends in der Weinbranche. So pflanzte er als einer der ersten im Valpolicella-Gebiet die Rebsorten Cabernet Franc und Cabernet Sauvignon und kreierte sein berühmtes Cuvée Alzero. Amarone wird ausschliesslich in guten Jahrgängen und aus dem besten Traubengut vinifiziert. Der Wein reift anschliessend überdurchschnittlich lange in den botti und kommt als einer der letzten auf den Markt. Markenzeichen von Giuseppe Quintarelli sind die handgeschriebenen Etiketten.

Quintarelli's Bianco Secco Veneto IGP is an expressive white wine with a youthful freshness. A complex bouquet of citrus fruit, yellow apple, apricot and nectarine unfolds on the nose, accompanied by subtle hints of exotic fruit and a subtle honey note. On the palate, it impresses with a smooth, almost silky texture, which is supported by a fine saline note and a balanced acidity structure. The interplay of fruit and minerality leads to a long, elegant finish that allows the wine's freshness to linger wonderfully.
