A small hand-picked selection of grapes from the Montepulciano Villa Gemma harvest is vinified in steel tanks with long maceration and then aged for 2 years in a single French oak barrel

A fruity, balanced and fresh red wine. Ruby red with slight violet reflections. Subtle bouquet. Soft fruits dominate slightly, followed by some stone fruits (plums, sour cherries). There are also slightly smoky notes. Dry on the palate. The structure is quite soft, medium-full and harmonious. In the fairly dominant back smell, along with fruity notes, herbal attributes (grassy, green pepper) emerge somewhat more strongly.
