This wine comes mainly from the eastern part of the appellation, where the soils are made up of sand and pebbles (in equal parts), with no limestone, which is typical of the western part of the appellation.

Pairing

This wine goes wonderfully well with characterful dishes such as a juicy rib of beef, a leg of lamb or a stew.

Tasting notes

A sunny nose, marked by ripe fruit and hints of garrigue. On the palate, the attack is supple, round and enveloping, with tannins that are still young but already very present. The aromas of ripe, intense black fruit develop rapidly, followed by a beautiful spicy development that gains in intensity, bringing great complexity to the wine. The power is gentle and perfectly controlled, balanced by a freshness that gives the wine a pleasant drinkability, making each sip perfectly balanced and enjoyable.

Beautiful fullness due to the aromatic intensity, underpinned by the concentration of the well-structured, well-integrated tannins, which are in no way aggressive. The whole is rich and silky.

The finish is marked by cocoa aromas.
