Pairing

Despite the present, structured tannins, it goes well with red meat, a ragu and also recent Alpine cheese.

Tasting notes

As a young wine, it exudes intense scents of ripe fruit and a slight note of vanilla. As a mature wine, it develops more complex notes of sweet tobacco and licorice. Harmonious and elegantly structured on the palate with a long and powerful finish. Maturation in barriques accentuates the complexity of the wine and gives it roundness and mildness.
