Altrovino IGP Costa Toscana BIO 2019

The vines, laid out as if in a natural amphitheatre, grow on excellent clay and stone soils. The low fertility of these soils leads to great characteristics and complexity in terms of the fruit of the grapes. The Cabernet Franc vines of Altrovino grow on the highest and most nutrient-rich site of the estate, which is made for Cabernet Franc.

The color of the Altrovino is dark crimson. The nose reveals wonderful scents of ripe black cherries, blueberries and currants. There are also light spice notes and floral aromas of violets and liquorice. Juicy on the palate, opens with a lot of fruit present. A superb wine with a distinctive character, a rich bouquet and fine-meshed, hearty tannins. The wine is complex and powerful and stands out with its perfect balance and a long finish.
