Ardbeg Corryvreckan whiskey is a Scotch that was originally released as a replacement for Airigh Nam Beist but is now considered a class of its own. Ardbeg Corryvreckan Whiskey owes its name to a natural whirlpool in the north of Islay. Only the most daring swim in this whirlpool in the ocean. It reflects the whiskey's lively, lively aromas, which bring an explosion of notes such as peat, pepper, spice and fruit. The nose is spoiled by piquant, fresh fruitiness, which offers a balance to the lots of smoke and the strong spice. A tininess of heather and pine leads into the also brilliant taste. Here the Ardbeg Corryvreckan Whiskey presents itself buttery soft, fruity and herbal. Roasted aromas and sea salt pave the way for the finish, which is reminiscent of grilled meat, chili, peat, medicine and salt.
