Own DOC for Vin Santo within the DOCG area Chianti in the Italian region of Tuscany. The zone includes well-defined areas in the provinces of Arezzo, Florence, Pisa, Pistoia, Prato and Siena. The wine is made from Trebbiano Toscano and/or Malvasia del Chianti (70-100%) and other approved white and red varieties (up to 30%).
Optimal dessert companion. But also with spicy blue cheese or a goose liver pate.
Amber colored. Intense and very present on the nose, dried fruit, vanilla and honey, thick and full-bodied on the palate, very concentrated, very harmonious, very long finish.
