An old legend, transmitted by various Greek and Latin historians, tells that the winners of the Olympic Games received a special tasty wine called Crimissa as a prize. This wine came from what is now the town of Cirò where Artino is produced. The combination of the Gaglioppo and Magliocco grape varieties gives this wine a unique characteristic that is incomparable.
Ideal with braised meat, red meat and aged cheese.
Ruby red color. Warm, full nose with a persistent fruity scent. Intense taste with notes of wild berries and other forest fruits.
