"An ancient legend, transmitted by various Greek and Latin historians, tells that the winners of the Olympic Games received as a prize a special tasty wine called Crimissa. This wine came from the present-day town of Cirò where Artino is produced. The combination of the Gaglioppo and Magliocco grape varieties gives this wine a unique characteristic that is incomparable.
Ideal with pot roasts, red meats and mature cheeses.
Ruby color. Warm, full nose with a persistent fruity scent. Intense taste with notes of wild berries and other forest fruits.
