The grapes for this wine come from a single vineyard in the neighbourhood of Florence. After fermentation, this wine matured for between 16 and 18 months in French barriques.
With savoury dishes and strong meat dishes.
Rich, bright ruby colour, fine, fragrant nose with notes of ripe blackberries and dark cherry. Hearty in attack and finish, it shows firm tannins, which nevertheless have a soft core. This wine develops beautifully, very clear and precise with a long finish.
