"Primo fiore" is a red wine made from equal parts of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Corvina and Corvinone grapes from the vineyards of the Valpolicella hills in the province of Verona in Veneto. This wine is made from grapes dried for about a month, vinified and aged for at least a year in large Slavonian oak barrels before being bottled. It presents itself to the eye with an impenetrable ruby red colour with light garnet reflections. The nose shows great complexity of fruity and floral aromas of cherries, raspberries, blackberries and violets, accompanied by gentle spicy notes. The palate is firm and well structured, with persistent fruity flavours and complex, elegant tannins. It finishes with a pleasantly spicy and savoury aftertaste. "
