Castello Tricerchi lies on the northern slopes of Montalcino, with 13 hectares entirely dedicated to Sangiovese Grosso, the grape behind the renowned Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso di Montalcino. Completed in 1441, the castle remains the family residence and houses the historic cellars where the wines mature in Slavonian oak.
Thanks to the cooler northern exposure and strong temperature variations, the wines show elegance, freshness and remarkable longevity. Hand-harvesting, fermentation with native yeasts and organic practices ensure authenticity and exceptional quality – a true jewel of Montalcino.
