Merlot Barrel Selection 2023

A characterful Merlot from the Valle de Uco in Mendoza. The vineyards’ high altitude and ageing in oak barrels lend it depth, elegance and a lovely balance between fruit and spice.

It goes perfectly with beef fillet, grilled meat, lamb, hearty meat dishes, mature hard cheese and spicy stews.

Deep ruby red with slight bluish highlights. On the nose, aromas of ripe quince, plums and dark forest berries, along with subtle notes of vanilla, tobacco and spices. On the palate, full-bodied, smooth and harmonious, with ripe tannins, lovely structure and a long, intense finish
