Since 2008, the best grapes of Nero d'Avola (85%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (15%) have been selected and used separately to produce the Sicilian red wine Ludovico, Orestiadi's top wine.

Ludovico is a wine for special occasions. It calls for a pairing with just as much character as a hearty braised roast or savoury, spiced vegetable dishes from the oven. It also comes into its own with rich pasta dishes served with dark sauces. Those who wish to experience the wine in its purest form should enjoy it on its own – a wine for contemplation that is a true delight even without food, bringing the Sicilian sun into the glass.

The lush fruit bouquet of the Rosso di Ludovico exudes intense aromas of dark berries, underpinned by subtle, refined woody notes.
