Belfresco IGT Calabria Rosso 2022

This fresh, fruity, youthful red wine made from Gaglioppo grapes will turn every warm summer evening into a celebration. As the name says, “Bel Fresco” means “nice and fresh” in Italian, this red wine is an alternative to white or rosè wine in summer. Cryo-maceration (cold maceration time at 5°C for approx. 15 hours) and carbonic acid fermentation (the conversion of the sugar into alcohol does not take place by the yeast as usual, but rather starts a special metabolic process in the berry using its own enzymes) is created Light (12.5% Vol.) accessible, very fragrant and lively wine.

Perfect as an aperitif or with fish, Italian antipasti, grilled meat.

Color: Bright ruby red with violet reflections. On the nose: Fruity and floral. Taste: Fresh, lively and soft.
