The Barbaresco Montersino comes from the cru site Montersino, one of the historic Barbaresco sites; the extreme exposure on the steep slope with deep, poor soils are ideal prerequisites for a great wine.

An elegant accompaniment to roasted and braised meat, dishes with lamb and game or mature cheese.

Rich ruby with cherry red reflections. Seductive, multi-layered nose. Sweet cherries, currants, some undergrowth, dried flowers, warm spices. Remarkable power, but wrapped in kid gloves. Robust, muscular tannins of the best quality. Well accentuated acidity. A powerful, aromatic body that lingers for a long time.
