The Saffredi is the flagship of Fattoria Le Pupille. This wine is the result of Elisabetta's intuition and her desire to produce a great wine in the Maremma, a desire that was realized with the valuable help of Giacomo Tachis. The Saffredi is a special dedication to Fredi, who inspired Elisabetta's passion for wine.
Red meat, finer dishes.
Dark garnet with a violet shimmer. Ingenious bouquet, lots of blue berries, cassis, blueberries, licorice, a subtle floral shimmer shows the wonderful aroma of the Cabernet. Medium-weight on the palate, shows fine muscles and a noble astringency, the tannins are melty and all components have already found a wonderful harmony.
