Franciacorta is the best sparkling wine denomination in Italy. The Villa winery, run in the style of a first-class champagne house (bottle fermentation and 36 months of yeast ageing), is swinging at the top with this clearly structured, elegant and fruity Franciacorta in the Chardonnay-influenced Blanc de Blancs style.
It is ideal as an aperitif, with oysters, caviar, salmon or all fish starters, mild cheese, fine antipasti or just to enjoy.
The bubbles are light and fine, the bouquet is reminiscent of dried fruits, cedar and acacia.
