Julien Prélat's Champagne Les Vignes Basses is made from 100% Meunier grapes grown in the marl and limestone soils of the village of Celles-sur-Ource in the Côte des Bar.
Excellent for rich aperitifs in convivial company, with charcuterie, cheese, raw or carpaccio fish and vegetarian starters.
The champagne is characterised by a harmonious and pleasant structure, with aromas of ripe white fruits such as apricot and candied citrus fruits, but without excessive sweetness
