The Berta Amaretto di Mombaruzzo is named after the village of Mombaruzzo, a municipality in the Italian region of Piedmont. The bottle comes in an attractive gift box, which also does this almond liqueur justice in terms of looks.

Its pomace comes from the autochthonous grape variety Nebbiolo da Barolo.
