Il Maschio da Monte is a Rosso Piceno the likes of which have never been produced before. Stefano Antonucci uses 100% Montepulciano for this genuine "Marchigiano". The grapes, which come from a mini-vineyard near Barbara, are harvested relatively late at optimal ripeness.
With rabbit and guinea fowl, also with roast pork and steaks.
Full, fresh acidity, fine fruit, perfectly balanced, sweet tannins.
